I am very excited to see the scheme to have reached the contract award stage. This is after months of hard work, from developing the concept, soliciting interest from the private sector, persuading authorities in charge to adopt the Scheme, going through an elaborate negotiation with the organizer to the signing of the contract today with the selected operator for the scheme, Shanghai Construction Group. 口译笔译 Shanghai Construction Group has been selected after a rigorous evaluation process and its proposal has been rated the best on the combined technical and financial assessments. Shanghai Construction Group is one of the biggest construction companies in eastern China, supported by a strong team of strategic partners, technology solution providers and financial institutions. The company is planning to complete the implementation of the project within 11 months. We have full confidence in its capability and commitment and we can expect that the first phase of the scheme will be up and running in October 2008. In less than a year's time, the participating cities in the UBPA can be able to use the air conditioning system supported by the scheme; the theme of the Expo 2010 “better city, better life” will be reflected through the adoption of energy saving and zero emission contained in the scheme. The scheme of river source heat pump will set the model for others in adopting environmental protection technologies. Ladies and gentlemen, our vision is to make Shanghai World Expo 2010 a green event in a world that faces so many environmental problems.
